This is the first turboA I’ve seen up for auction in Japan for a long time. It looks pretty well worn and with only 17,000kms on it you’d have to assume it died and has sat unused for a while. There does appear to be a heap of rust in the windscreen wipers and engine bay – which all appears genuine turboA (not Group A as the auction suggests).
The Australian price, based on the conversion rate right now works out to $5,790.25 Aus. Include shipping, taxes and all the other crap that goes with getting a ship transported over and you might get this for $8,000-$9,000 which is way cheaper than any turboA on Australian soil (well, of those that run).

Stumbled across this yesterday, another great photo of the MA running some laps. I’m not sure where this was taken, perhaps Eastern creek (that was the last showing I know of).
